right got macafee somethign or other.
anyway clicked on a link on migweb and it came up all sorts of shit and clicked through a million dodgy porn sites etc trojan warnign flashed up a few times as well. It also somehow magically stuck antivirus gold 2.0 on my desktop and in the taskbar.
It also changed the homepage from google to sysetm 32 they are wathcign you has my IP address (the right one) and all sorts up on it.
Can I get rid of the crap/ can I feck!
Run macafee and it says everythings cool! No problems at all.
So what do I do and where do I start? its ferking irritating. |

Cry.
I always find as soon as you get one pop up it just snowballs until you end up in the phoetal position crying ,with bits of broken computer strewn around the room. So in that light yeah i rekon re-install would be the better option. |

It's all that porn.
I just go into nervous breakdown mode when stuff like that happens.
Try and backup any files you want to keep if it'll let you then re-format the hard drive and start again installing xp etc |

I guess my 5 year old shoddy Tiny PC doesn't help things much.
I have a little bro for computer stuff and I try and fix the car related stuff (Not always sucessfully). Will ask and c if i can get me hands on a copy of xp(sure i got a copy at home or work) If you need it that is. Although I think it's probably a bit of a last resort. |

its fucking me right off now.
downloaded the MS antispy thingy. found 1 file, the antivirus gold thing, which I had removed, it appears it wasn;t all removed. so I got antispy to remove it. Says sits deleted.
It then said blah blah default browser settings etc, I went into it through antispy set it all back to google etc and clicked ok.
Tried it and it comes back up on that page!
also MS XPo auto update is enabled and regularly updates, its updating the now, well downloading the update its at 48%
we went out and got macafee because everyoen that is apparently in the know says its the best |

Trythe Lavasoft Adaware , I find it removes more than the rest. If its a nasty peice of spyware then it will hide itself in several places. If you have XP DISABLE System restore. |
