well i have finally come across a renault 19 16v, i picked it up today from the scrappys for £150 including parts, the car has a bit of rust in parts but it can be sorted, to begin with it looked a bit of a mess, and was in great need of some TLC, so i began right away by washing the car
this is how she looked about 10 mins after i got her home
and after a quick was
the engine also had the same treatment
More to follow if the weather stay's ok |

im thinking of doing a tech article on repairing arches and other rusty patches, but im not sure how many people would want me to do this, if there is any interest then il do one in the next few week if the weather is right. |

problem then was the pictures, i had them on cd but could i find the damn things NO, so now i have another rusty renault to play with i will have more pics. |

well the reason it was in the scrappys is viewable in the picture below
so as you can see, a very simple repair, and yep the car has a digi dash, which is damn hard to see when its sunny outside |

insurers will have written the car off and rarely you can buy them back. Insurers are just registering stuff liek that as catB/C just to be dickheads. |
