just found out today ,the guy is coming over to pick her up tomorrow at an unknown time ,so i must hurry amd get what ever else i can really , still got the gearbox ,the doors ,wings ,hatch ,driveshafts and the bottom end in there .
which means i am waking up even before the birds have their shit i am afraid |

woke up at 7 to get the bits out ,mnaged to get all doors both wings little bits and bobs ,had a go at the box as well undone most mounting bolts etc the whole thing tilts but could not seperate the gb from the engine ,both driveshafts are out btw ????
and i have not got any thing to lift the bottom end and the gb together ,i dont wnt to leave the box ,any ideas ???????? |

yeah, drop the subframe off, lift the front of the shell and roll it out the way. Or just wait for the guy to come and lift it with his lorry, leaving the subframe and engine etc on the floor for you to strip at your lesisure. |

thought about that too my good man ,the problem is the space ,i cant just leave a subframe with a block and a geabox on it on the parking space ,people will start complaining immediately where i live |

well it wont be there long will it. Once the shell is gone, you can strip it down and move the bits within an hour or two.
If anyone says anything tell em to mind their own fucking business, its not getting in their way any more than the whole car was. |

how do we get the fecking ignition lock thingy out than ??????
i took the screw out expecting the whole thing to slide out easy but something else is holding it and i cant see the fecker |

you have to remove it with the key in schaks. It's got a locking mechanisim that only releases with the key turned. |

prity much mate.
Turn it to the second mark on the ignition, if it don't pull out try pushing the locking bit in at the same time. (if you have a look around the ignition barrel and casing you'll see what I mean)

i have seen them 2 little metal bits around the barrel but they dont seem to function at all , they are meant to pull in to let the barrel out you mean ????? |

yea thats what they do.
turn the key in the ignition and keep pressing on them, when you get to the rite position they will push all the way in and allow you to pull the barrel out with the key. |

she is gone
they guy came and picked her up 10 mins ago ,had to leave the bottom end and the gb on there sadly ,oh well got to learn and live with it now |
