how easy does the turbo gear fit on there though chris ?
does it fit straight on to the inlet and zorst manifolds if he can get hold of the gear????
i was on about simple options tbh ,open air filter ,decat etc ???? would not they help at all ? |

just get the td's pump, turbo, downpipe etc and there you go.
A decat etc will help but not as much as the turbo. |

pump as in fuel pump i believe ?
turbo is the bit that sticks on to the inlet manifold ???
i see ,so downpipe is the bit where them turbines reside hence no need to get the zorst manifold out . just a downpipe swap
whats etc ???? loom ,ECU ???
and how much extra power will all that give in the end? |

fucks sake
turbo
exhaust manifold
inlet manifold
downpipe
fuel pump
brain
intercooler
induction hoses
thats etc
extra power, dunno maybe 20bhp and 30ftlb, bump up the fueling and boost will get more though.
easily outrun any 16V though if you get the thing fueling right. |

schakal, if they're still making 19s in Turkey and the parts are cheap a la the coolant bottles, you should get your mates to start sending over a few other things that people want and are expensive here.
eg. window seal rubbers |

they stopped making r19s in 2002 as far as i know ,this one my mate owns is at 40k kilometres (25k miles)
window rubbers are not the easiest things to carry though mate ,i hardly managed to bring a set for the front doors myself ,stressfull job though .
the coolant bottles are cheap enough ,i brought over 5-6 of them and ,i have not got one left for myself ,
i remember giving the last one away to one of the unpopular member of the site ,cause he was whinging like a little girl |

Chris, he doesn't have to worry about the compression ratios being different?
non turbo is 65bhp, turbo is 93bhp if i remember rightly... |

Oh yeah, and you can just pack a job lot of the window seals into a stout poster tube or similar and take it through, or mail it to yourself from Turkey |
