Only had a spare hour to spend on the cabby today, so decided to start relocating the switches ive removed from the centre console, to make way for the dvd screen....
Pic!
They are the two MOT ones... everything else i can live without, however below the gearstick, down towards the handbrake it looks like theres two blanks... do some models have extra switches here??
Pic of the bit i mean....

much nicer with leather
if people can see into the car i personally wouldn't like that pattern on show.
are you removing the heater blowers too for this dvd screen?
I thought about it and opted for a portable dvd player pluged into the system that just sits in the glove box, that way it's doesn't have to be left in the car, so reduces chances of theft, i can use it if ever i go away and i can hide it quickly if the old bill ever pull me over |

Expensive A/V gear in a soft top seems like a bit of a liability to me as well... |

I turned down a leather interior for mine... looks too much like plastic in my opinion.... I dont find the pattern offensive, but each to their own With the help of a renault laguna you wont be able to see the screen And i prefer integration as opposed to a plug in the ciggie put on your lap job tbh.....
can anyone answer my question on the blanks??? lol Enough about my seats! |
