Phoned Hill Power ( www.hillpower.co.uk ) today to enquire about some polished goodies for my engine bay, guy who answered the phone was very polite and explained he hardly ever sold anything like that for the 19 anymore but did have a few parts unpolished (dull ally) which would need a little work to bring up to standard and said he would do me all the parts i asked about for £40 and thats including the carriage!
Ended up with:
ECU cover
Strut top covers
Ignition coil cover
Hill power sticker
Bargain as far as im concerned! According to a 2004 price guide i had from them the parts in polished form should retail for around the £80-90 mark excluding carriage.... so a bit of elbow grease just saved me a packet! that can go towards a header tank now
Dont know if anyone else has had any dealings with this company, but im impressed so far.... |

All i can say is that i drove my mates valver a few times and it gave me a lot of confidence going in and out of the corners. Making it "chuckable" Suppose im comparing it to a cabby 19 though, sure the differences are quite big. |
