well her golf aint too bad really.
what she doing? going thru ur insurance ?
as u seem to be able to do bodywork, stead of the insurance route, you ought to offer to patch it up for her. |

Do you still have to learn braking distances to get a driving license? |

Dan Dan Dan Dan Dan..... give yourself more time to assess hazards and dangers..... you're still a new and inexperienced driver, and judging by the way you drove on the BSM you have a heavy right foot!
Just take things a bit slower, it'll pay dividends!
Not having a dig like, just a 'gentle' word of advice! |

since ive said im getting the 19 back on the road, its just started doing all this. same happened with my 19, as soon as we bought the clio it siezed up.
ive offered to buy the bumper, and i even told the copper i did bodywork and theres no more than £50 damage.
I had been keeping a safe distance all the way, but as soon as i went to over take, bang on the brakes, my passenger who was with me couldnt believe she braked, no reason atall. It even says in the highway code, if a vehicle is traveling too closely behind, SLOWLY deaccelarate to increase the distance between you and the car in front!
What actually happened was:
Its a 50mph limit road, she was doing 40ish coming towards a good overtaking spot, as i was trying to get a longer view for the spot i closed up the gap a little bit, then she braked, i then braked, and dropped into 2nd, as i planted the throttle to go past her she nailed the brakes, and i simply wouldnt have escaped it, fucking stupid cow. if it was a bloke i would have smacked the feck out of him. |
