I am now the proud owner of a rather mint Peugeot!
Yet to sort some photos out, but it's a lairy green 205 1.6 Gti..
Done 77k, no rust at all.. And just had £400 spent on it.
What do you reckon it's worth? |

205s handle better than the clio allegedly?
Not the 1.9 as was sold to me by a mate.. Beggars can't be choosers! From what I've read people rate the 1.6 over the 1.9 anyway.. |

I'd heard that the 1.9 engine was a bit heavy and affect the handling? Whatever - I'm chuffed with it!
Has plenty enough poke for me.. Not 19 16V pace, but not far off it. Has just had lots of new suspension parts so it handles like a dream. And with change out of £600 I don't think I've done too badly!
Need to get rid of the big spoiler off the back though - I can't carry my mountain bike on it at present! |

Well put chris. The 1.9 came with half leather, better alloys and a more powerful engine so i cant see what would make the 1.6 better really. The 1.6's still go well though and still has the dodgem like handling that 205's are renound for. £400 quid was a steal in good condition and with low mileage Ben, any piccies in the pipeline? |

I wouldnt go as far as to say the colour is gay, i actually think it looks pretty good and individual. But i have to go along with the general opinion that that spolier is absolute gash! 205 GTI's are like 19 16v's i think in that they dont need a load of sticky on crap to make them look 'good' as they look really nice standard. They are 1.9 alloys, the 1.6's came with smaller one's. Could do with a clean though mate! |
