You've lost me now lads, is an induction kit beneficial or what? I currently have the original renault set up on my 8 valve 1.8 rsi (R19 cabby) |

i find it is but then mine goes to the coldest air poss as the bumper liner came loose and i ripped it off
i would like to fair test done to see the difference though, but personally i feel it does help ( throught the revs and most off all at the top of the rev range) and i always op for a air filter on my valver and de-cat and leave rest alone |

with the induction kit I found an improvement of about 6mpg in all conditions.
It was also noticeably faster and sounds way better. |

well, i have driven with and without, and dont find a difference, apart from sounding different, yet to try the original air box with a performance filter in there, but each to their own i spose |

Never had a proper airbox on the car, but I did notice a difference between the K&N that was on the car and the "Cosmic Racing" universal jobbie. K&N gave about 1-2mpg more but the Cosmic one sounded better and seemed to improve things performance wise. |
