how could you not know the clutch was slipping? Didn't the fact it must have been boucing off the the limiter and not accelerating not give that fact away?

Also bear in mind the nexia is younger so it will probably be in a better state of tune than the 19 so it will be quicker.

I assume you have driven other cars? Yes

Do any of the other cars revs rocket when you accelerate the revs rocket btu the car doesn't go with them?

The whole fact is a slipping clutch means you might be bouncing off the limiter but doing 60mph top. Also did the smell not give it away?

it was not slipping 100% so i did not really smell any burning i was doing about 65mph @ 4500 rpm so there wasn't really any bouncing just a lac of power. i have only been driving for about 2years so i havnt really had that many cars.

4.5krpm at 65mph, thats about 1250rpm overly high revs. You never smelled it? I have driven cars like that with less slip for maybe 3/4 miles and the smell and smoke would force you to stop for an hour to let it cool down.

Get a new cable on it, btw the clutch may well go pop soon as well cos its been overheated lots with you driving it.
