thermostat, maintains the engine at a constant temp, thats the theory.
Rad switch is what switches the fan on and off.
Due to sheer stupidity people go and buy low temp stats and rad switches, this isn't good for the engine or a nice toasty heater. |

ok i was idaling my car today and when i diped thew throtal fast it cut out and i cheked the map it died when unpluged but when i unpluged the throtle sensor it did exactly the same as when it was pluged in never got chance to drive it thou just running it in the gardon (dose it mean its buggerd) if so
when can i buy a new one online i tryed the norm of eurocarparts and gsf
but thay dont have it ..
and is there a way of seting it up with out the etronic gigary thing hayns manual tells u to use (xr25)(had and xr2 once but it found a tree LOL)
and many thanks to all that have put up with the bad spelling thu out with out taking the piss (i cant even spell my name right every time) |

it doesn't mean its not working, it should still idle with it unplugged, did you try and rev it with it unplugged?
You can set them up with a multimeter. Renault only as well. |

yea like i said i did exactly the same it trys to cut out when i dip the throttle with or without the sensor pluged in
wood be nice to test it some how
i no i seem realy green witch i am but ive only ever messed about with a mini engings for about 15 years and a few vaxhall engings so i am use full with spaners and electirx just neevr realy had to mess with ECU stuff (got to lean some time)
so any one with a broken A series i will be able to help |
