17" s wont do you any good . they willl decrease your acceleration and increase your fuel consumption me thinks . stick with 15"s and lower the car ,it would look much better . |

I might actually be able to get some 15" ers. My Dad's got an old Mk2 Golf GTI Convertible on his drive with some nice 15" alloys which should fit mine perfect. They are 4X100 and have an offset of 38 which is in limits if I'm right. Should be able to swap them with my steelies as the Golf's not going anywhere
Only prob is they're painted white, so might have to sandblast them. |

golf wheels may need the centre bored out to fit the spigot. AMybe not, cannae mind.
I ran 17's on my 1.4 fine, better fuel consumption andacceleration wasn't that badly affected. |
