Preices vary but you can get a head from a ton or so.

I'll do a better head than hillpower would for less cash.

If the heads done right retainign standard valve sizes then 10% across the rev range minimum. bigger valves give a few percent more.

The best head is the megane head but its involved, a williams is the same casting but with bigger valves.

news update.

the engine wasn't a willy 2.0 but a megan 2.0 16v.

the guy said you can put the bottom end of the megan with the valver head?

any ideas?

P.s engine has 46,000 miles and came out of a 1999 model

easiest way is fit the valver head to the meg BE. how much is the engine going for?

£400 for the botom end and 350 for the gear box
or as I said before £950 + Vat for the lot.

Very expensive for what you get.

i just bougt a full set up for £600, engine, gearbox, all ancilliries, ECU, lol even air con pump!

2.0l meg F7R lump, also comes with full service history!

For a grand you could get the 1.8 to put out more than that.


Don't forget you also get the stronger JC5 gearbox and with like for like modifications wont the Williams put out more than the Valver?

chris, any advice regarding the megane jc5 gearbox, apperntly it uses a digital speedo .. is it possible to rig up a williams speedo cable in to it?
