yeah but to be fair Chris, you might have got it for £80 but youve been fixing and moaning about it since the day you got it. Remains to be seen if Schakal's will be any better, but still... |

been to see the chammy today ,here are some better pics .
i have seen this just on my way ,£700
here is the beast from the rear
here is the engine comp. took the plug cover out and found out 2 inches of water on top of the plugs. thats why the car was shaking on the road probably.and may be thats the reason the battery was not able to start the car up in the first place.
done a bit of work today , found out the interior carpet is soaking wet for some reason , could not get it to start up either as i messed the plug leads order while taking the plug cover out . did not want to take the risk ,but i am pretty sure it will start up easy especially now i dried the water in the wells . |

finally today i managed to drive it home without being able to stick it in the 5th gear somehow ?????
after i parked up ,tried changing gears .weirdly the 5th gear engages when you pull the plastic lever up as you are putting it into reverse ?? whats happening there then ???
after i parked up i heard something turning for about 5-7minutes around the radiator . i suppose thats the axuilary water pump yeah ???? |

knackered dampers or the bottom bolts fallen out which is surprisingly common. |

got a plug cover somewhere in my garage I'll look it out. I take it you mean the bit of plastic that goes over the lug leads on top of the rocker cover? |

ph1 19's dump water straight onto the cover david so the plug wells fill with water. A deflector, or tapes the solution. |

the car is soaking wet inside ,got to find out where the water is coming from
i managed to take the pasenger seat and the rear seat bottom out and stuck with one screw on the drivers side , balls
how does the top of the rear seats come out ??? i have not seen any bolts or screws around .
also decided to not to spend a penny on this car untill i can get a rear passenger door sorted . will just do cleaning and water leak inspection at the moment . hopefully i will be able to get rid of that damp smell inside the car .
by the way found a black pair of kinky ladies knickers in the passenger seat pocket , somebody must have had a good time in the back seat at some point ,thus will disinfect the whole rear seat |

LOL nice, does it have that nice 'odour' that seems to linger long after such activity has taken place? |
