'Ned' is the scottish equivalent of 'chav' (you do know what one of those is, don't you?). I'm not scottish, but I just like the sound of it, it just seems to fit nicely.
To be more specific, the term 'ned' was coined by the scottish councils as an acronym for 'Non Educated Delinquent' |

i always say chav mainly.
but since ive become a reg on this fourm.
ned is now of equal use.
mainly cos of chris using it.

all tho "scum" seems to work just as well |

ned is a word that has been around for a long time before I was born etc. Chav is a new thing and like all fads will go away.
Reprobate is a nice word I like to call people. |
