Ive still got my Saturn in the other room, and a jaguar at my parents'.
The saturn was an awesome 2D sprite shifter, the game 'Radiant Silvergun' still sells for big money on ebay, regarded by many (including me) as the finest shooter ever. Thats how it was designed, as a 2D beast. Then Sony put out their specs for the Playstation (showing its impressive 3D capabilities) and Sega got worried. So they added in another SH2 processor to try and make up the 3D power. The saturn is a therefore dual processor machine and was notoriously difficult to program.
Also got a fairly large collection of Atari Lynx gear |

Megadrive!
i was a sonic the hedgehog addict, knew all the secret levels and power ups lol.
never owned a snes or a megadrive, but the girls 2 doors down did and of course it was a perfect excuse to always be round thiers
i had an amiga 500 then the amiga 1200 at the time megadrives were popular and the games on the amiga were far superior like Alien Breed, top game that |

yep yep, indeed, also used to love Buggy Boy on the amiga 500 lol
Frontier : Elite 2 was a fav but they made it slightly easier by giving u the docking computer as standard, when i played it on the BBC B and Spectrum (Elite 1) you had to trade and make money before you could get a docking computer lol. |

I always remember the arguments we had at school about what was better....the Amiga or the Atari ST, no competition! |

Amiga 500 was better than the STfm, but when the STe came out, that was technically better, and slightly faster. Course, the amiga still had the best games!
Remember the Dizzy series Neo? |

Sega man here. I had a megadrive, mega cd and 32x. I'm full sure i had the largest console in ireland! Night trap on mega cd was way cool at the time! Virtua racing on the 32x was also v good.
Bought a saturn on the day of its relaese with daytona and virtua fighter. Got me name in one of the uk sega mags for fastest lap on the first track of daytona lol
Dreamcast is also floating around, sega rally is still a top game on it but i think it was better on the saturn. I have sega bass fishing and the rod floating around somewhere...
Lack of games meant a change to the PS2 and tbh i haven't looked back but i'll admit to buying a gamecube and playing it once before proclaiming how shit it was and giving it to the brother ditto the xbox
Mario cart is BY FAR the best multiplayer game EVER! "WHO GOT THE STAR?!" "WAS THAT YOUR RED SHELL?!" etc etc those were the days |

mario kart - the best one was either the ghost and u get to nick opponents item and go invisible! or the thing that made everyone else turn into little player and u cud run them over!
class game.
get to the point where u were racing a mate and if u so much as clipped one corner....start > quit....cos u knew u would nevr catch up u had got it so perfect. |
