Mine has done exactly the same thing, thought it might have been cos the car had been standing for months over winter without being started. First run out, i smelt petrol, but only did about a mile round trip to get it moving again...... same thing for a few weeks til i investigate and saw the leak. So like you i cut the pipe down, only for it to happen again. The pipe was then to short to cut down anymore so i joined on a new piece of pipe which has been ok, but i want to replace the pipes just to be safe.
So where do the pipes go which you replaced? Did you replace one or both from the injectors? I assume as you got 6 meters you used some universal stuff and not new pipes from Renault? How hard was it to do?
