Errr no. I reckon I'm gonna try giving Renault UK an e-mail, see if I can get a definitive answer, although knowing Renault they'll try charging me £30 for the honour of knowing!
I've found a few articles on the PK6 gearbox that Jimbo mentioned and it seems to be fitted to everything from the top-spec Clio V6 all the way down to the diesel-powered Renault Trafic vans!
Will all these gearboxes be the same, despite their broad use? Or will they have different ratios do we reckon? |

Right, new question:
What the feck is the part with the orange ring round it in the pic below? What ever it is is chain driven (as can be seen from inside oil filler cap).
Surely if this engine is pushrod then that is too high up inside the cylinder to be a camshaft?

Dizzy runs off the other one if I remember right. |

So that ECU is of no use to me then. Anyway am hoping to get the engine running on an Emerald system so wouldn't need it anyway! |
