I'll go as a passenger then drive whatever car it is round the ring and set a good time.

haha, the RSC lot are also discussing a trip there for May of 2006.

maybe we could do a combined trip, may of next year gives plenty of time to save up some ££££, maybe book a camping ground etc etc, poss a group discount for using the ring, group discount from eurotunnel for the amount of renaults going etc.

i would love to give my 19 a blat round the ring so i'm up for a trip of this kind.

Roger could borrow one of the Army's landrovers to carry the spares down lol.

rsc thread here

S France is out of it.

I don’t even think about driving to the UK.

In France you pay a lot just to drive on a motorway.

Apart from that, if I rent a RHD its OK, but I have some problems placing the car.

If I took a LHD back I’ll be in the right hand lane -tout suite- and with a right from god attitude.

I’ve been around here for a number of years. But the other day I decided to go for a drive to some places that I haven’t visited for a while.

Villefranche with Cannes in the back ground.

Monaco 2 days after the GP

The valley of Sospel, looking north, the best roads are in the mountains in the back.

Any way, back to work at the end of next week? silly job 3 months at home, then go to look at a lot of sea for 3 months. At least the 19 gets a rest.

If you really get one of these trips set up. I will try to get over in a rented Fiat panda or something local.

But with work wife kids - no promises.

bonjour mon ami, cava ? Smile

i could never get the hang of Masculine and Feminine in the french language, wether it was Le or La for example.

i've been to a la franscai quite a few times, tried to speak the lingo and then been laughed at by the french ppl who can speak english better than i can lol.

however . . . i can speak two phrases very well,

'je nes sais pas pourqoi'

'voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir'

anyway, any word on that little favour i PMed you about a few weeks ago R1916S ?

Bollox to the masculine Femininine.

Its like Polish plummers

Pas chez nous S V P

Wonze you get by the crap and 'tapez avec la tete' one or two of the f wits 'tout va bien'

Sorry the scrapy in Cannes is a Dk head, said I could get the bage if took the hatch with it. Was in another who had a TPS for 20€ but no badge. Fallen out with Renault over them not having new TPS sensors in stock.
Will be going over to Renault Nice, Oh , on Friday I think.

I think the Dutch said no to the new wider Europe as well.

Anyway, off to trash the car a bit tomorow.

Cheers
