Bunch of fucking cunts, it really enoys me because after they know where you are they will limit the speed you can do with those things aswell.
they will be able to slow the car down.
Whats the point of having a car if you can't welly it every now and again the only people who will benefit from this will be OAP's |

I really dont think it will go as far as actually remote controlling your car matey, that would be extremely dangerous.
Besides, they would much rather just let you go faster than you should and then detect you doing it. That way they can slap a nice big fine on you.
The governement's answer to everything... tax or a fine. |

or
Tax is a fine for doing anything

Tbh, although alarming as it may seem, I really can't see this being implemented for a long long time. There would be uproar if this got passed through.
Also, what's the deal with the amount of Road Tax we pay and the amount that is spent on the roads?.
If they sorted all the illegal Asylum and Doll leeching scum fucks out they wouldn't have to pimp money from other things.
This country is crap, but where is better?. |

couldn't believe my ears when i heard this idea on the news the other day. Its ridiculous. A better idea would be to drop tax on fuel, and just bump up the cost of buying a tax disc.
As has been mentioned already, for those that commute to work from quite far away will be spending a small friggin fortune!!!
Huw is right, in our area the public transport system is a bag of shite. I drive 10 miles to college everyday because the bus that can pick me up is usually late or VERY crowded (ie no seats or room to stand). I'm lucky in that i live close to a main bus route, but it really is next to useless. I would happily use the system if it was improved and more buses more often.
The idea of PAYG is a really bad idea, and hopefully will be met with a majority disliking and therefore not happen. It will be a sad sad day if it does... |

Last time i went on a bus was a couple of weeks ago coming back at night from london. With no forewarning that it was going to be the case, no signs saying so earlier, my train was replaced with a bus service at alexandra palace. That's a whole new area or gripe-ery that i wont go into.
However, this bus ride was funny as fook. I was sitting near the back and it was quite packed. There was this girl sitting on the sideways seat right behind the driver and a guy standing next to the driver. She looked a bit the worse for wear and so did her mates. Suddenly she starts projectile vomiting into this little bag shes holding. Dont know if it had any shopping in it or what. On her second or third heave, she misses the bag and it goes all down this guy's leg.
Ah the joys of a journey by public transport... |

yep all london buses have cameras in them now, grids all around the drivers seat so stop them being robbed and some buses now in london are ticket only, u have to buy your ticket at the bus stop from a machine, then give it to the bus driver. the driver does not issue tickets or take cash.
last time i took a bus was a year ago, because the tube had a problem so they laid on a bus service for the connection between railway stations.
was not a pleasent experience due to the chavs i had to share the journey with.
At least in my car i get to chose who rides in it! |
