if it does fail, ill take it back and do the welding myself. I guess its down to the garage as to whether they want to charge me for a retest? cos i may not get it back to them til next week. also, it runs out friday, so i will be without MOT til i get it sorted. |

Yes its really up to them. You should have asked before giving them it.
If it could have waited a wee while i know a decent place that does them. |

yeah I know thats why I said its a shame.
I need to go back there and press in my wheel bearings. Good lads. Hes actually a bus/hgv garage that does car work.
Let me use the press etc.
They do mots for 30 quid 2 week re-test. Firm but fair and they let me off with things cos they know I will sor tthem out. |

but only on a track rod end tho so ill swap that over tonight , job done!
