Yes, there infantry wagons.

My job requires me to go to a differant unit every 3 years. It could be Infantry, RLC, Signals ect. So depending on who I'm working with at that time dictates what kit I can use and what training I have to do.

Sounds better than what it realy is though tbh.

Its only going to be a Bedford or a Daff, There quite shit tbh. You can put a make shift radio in them as long as you take it out for inspections.

Anyway whats the deal with you Roger?

You seem to know quite a bit about the army. And you seem very interested in it.

Were you considering joining at one stage?
or maby you were in for a bit?

Whats your story Red Hat? Laughing

So are you talking about the REME Fitter wagon or the Foden Recovory Vehicle?

Foden is one hard ass truck!
and the Fitter wagon is no more than a big tool box on wheels. (I'd still have one) I need a good tool box. Very Happy

If you like Big MOFO Trucks then you'll like this.

Image

if you click on the pic it goes to full size.

This is the old Scammell Commander Tank Transporter. when fully laden with a Challenger 2 battle tank it weighs over 100 Tonnes. It can also Self recover.

It's a bit dated so the new Oshkosh Tank transporter has taken its place, but I dont like it.

Image

The only reason I dont like these is because I've seen one flip in testing with a Chally 2 on the back and it was only taking a corner at 5mph!
