No problems with the dreaded wing mirror spider, I just drive too close to parked/on-coming vehicles.... No mirrors, No spiders
Yep, i'm fearless, spiders, snakes, rats, scorpians, i'm scared of nothing..... well... maybe.. It's like this, i might be just a tad, sort of, slightly, OK MOTHS, yep those bloody great hairy monsters, the ones that bump into you and knock you over....they make that sound, you know, that ... that.. Howe do you describe it, just before they leave the lamp shade and try to tear your ears off..
Phoned a mate from a public phone box one night, you now the ones, red with a pane or two of glass and a pool of piss on the floor. This was done from the comfort of the driving seat of my car...
That bloody great Moth flew in the window of the car, Shit and panick, whilst trying to fight the huge beast off a bloody phone box got in the way , 50p in the slot and a dialled number,a mate with toe rope, big grin and can of raid turnd up!

But on a funny point. If you did have the lesser spotted reno spider nestling in your mirrors then the web would have caught the moth before it made you smash!!

moths are freaky...some of them are huge and sounds like helicopters...but they dont get to me...cos they seem so harmless...its weird, only spiders get to me...even a daddy long legs which is basically a spider with wings doesnt get to me cos it isnt a spider so i can grab them....

one flap of a hand at a moth and its wings disintergrate any way

so does a cat when you hit it at 80 and the bugger lands on ya windscreen!

Ian , my mate did that in his volvo and ended up with a nice silvery/ white spit mark!! As well as a cracked windscreen, dented bumper, cracked number plate and a good job for a sunday morning sobering up wiping the cats excess away!!! Smile

I really hate spiders, we used to have a big black hairy house spider called "boris" in our garage, used to spend a lot of time in there smokin and from 1 side of the garage to the other u could see he had eyes, and you could see he was looking at you Shocked

Changed his name to "borrisette" after finding it guarding some egg sacks which were torched, finally got him ages later, set a shelf in my garage alight in the process, can of lynx and a lighter, got him tho Very Happy

Since then they just spook me, but I've found they all die nearly instantly if you squirt them with carb cleaner lol Twisted Evil

Also on the list are:

wasps, why cant they all just die??? They have no bloody purpose!! Bumble bees are cool tho, they just bumble round u a few times, work out that your not a flower and bumble off Rolling Eyes

ants, they buggers invade my house on a yearly basis, many a boiling hot kettle of water has gone thier way, slowly year by year I'm killing more of them and less come back, result! Cool

Just to make you laugh. Our dog is an expert at fly catching, he spends hours during the summer catching and eating them!! My fiancee's just been watching Sky and let out an almighty scream, i turned round and said what's up. She pointed at a box on the floor where sitting by the side of it was a BIG Spider, even i was scared of it!

Then comes our dog, i pointed to where it was, like a doggie possessed he fly off his bed and in one whoosh of a doggies tail. NO SPIDER!! GONE. Not even a leg was left, the outcome was one very happy dog who had just had his tea!!!!

SO, if you don't like them GET A DOG!! Laughing

ever since i found that out, i have had respect for daddy longlegs.

knowing if it had teeth, every one would run a mile from it, instead of pulling off its legs wilst its mating.

yeah cats r sick with spiders....i remember our old cat eatin one...or playing with it first...i was watchin (kinda morbid fasination thing) and she was pickin it up and shaking it, then the bloody thing shook it and let go and the bloody spider flew and hit me!!! i sweared a lot.
