theres loads of 1.4 3 door ph1's, you fall over them in the scrappies.
And yes project Y is a 3 door non 16V. Neal and JB you were in the bloody thing!
The super van was a car conversion, its not actually a van from the factory built on the production line.
I have also seen ph1 TD 3 doors, the ph1 td is a normal diesel not a turbo diesel which adds to the confusion.
The 3 door ph1 1.4's are badged up as 1/.4 energy but they don't have energy engines fitted.
A lot are in that electric blue colour as well.
I have not seen a non 16V ph2 3 door though. |

SO IS IT STILL BADGED AS A TD OR JUST D?
I have not seen a non 16V ph2 3 door though.
AND IM SURE CHET POSTED A POST BEFORE WITH A 16V REP THAT WAS A PH2 3DR |

Does such a thing exist or were all non 16v hatches 5 door?
What model 19s had best selection of toys? Electric windows, mirrors etc?
|
They did make 3drs, I've seen a few, all basic spec tho RNs/RL's - never seen a 3dr RT. I have seen a 1.1 Renault 19 though (or at least, thats what the badge said and it was some dodgy sounding name like Barrritz which I looked up and it was indeed a 1.1). I've also seen a 5dr PH1 16v, there are loads in france if you look on eBay.
As regards to which is the best 19 - the RT (phase 2) gives you body coloured bumpers, electric windows, electric sunroof, electric heated mirrors, front fogs, rev counter, steering column radio controls, rear headrests, remote central locking, power steering etc. Most TD's came with the 'sports pack' which consisted of 16v sideskirts, rear spoiler and 16v steering wheel, when not fitted with an airbag. |

The general was badged GTD, 1.4 petrol
Supervans and megavans came into the country as cars which then had the rear seats etc ripped out and burnt, seriously |

I got it to 115, not as quick by a long shot compared to the energy though.
Although coming back from andrews it was over the ton a few times. |
