If thats the case then leave it for a couple of days. The oil will bleed out.
Normally if that happens it only takes a short whiel to bleed down.
Don't pull the head off for no good reason!
if the tappets jammed and assuming the exhaust valve isn't bent from being held open pop the cam out, pullt he tappet then drain what you can otu then pop th emiddle out usign my knowledge base tappet guide. |

aye i've seen used your tappet guide before and it works a treat!, the valve may just not be seated properly as the valves did look to be covered in carbon when i had the zorst manifold off.
it will be left a couple of days first before hand, if not then i'll just swap the head as it has new stem seals and i re-ground the valves on it less then 800 miles ago and did the tappets while i was at it! |
