does anyone know why Renault dicided to build 19 16v cabby's with plain black door mirrors? i've always wondered why they did that

no idea, being cheap i guess.
the other thing i can't understand about renault is why on earth put cloth seats in cabbys?
it rains, cloth seats get soaked, then start to smell and grow mould . . eww (like docs cabby when he first picked that up, it was like a miniture rain forest, had it's own eco system that car!)
If you are gonna sell a car that the roof comes off of, leather seats should be standard equipment IMO |

i agree there chris, but renault = multi-million pound company, and i doubt they ever made 500,000 cabby's
 
but i do see your point, do you think they look better with black mirrors then? |

and cheap thin wiring for the looms.
500,000 cabbies, easily, possibly more, theres the whole of europe, south africa and southern america.

They had cloth seats, Coz they were never supposed to leak.
Leather gives you 1st degree burns in the summer whilst wearing shorts, ( I have prove)
Mirror thing gets me, though! why not add 40p per car! 20p per mirror, thtas 20p profit per car!BARGAIN! |
