Today Amber and I went to Glasgow zoo.
Now the interesting thing is the Zoo has been shut for about 3/4 years now.
I was here a few times many years ago, I think I was with the school 15 years ago!
Glasgow Zoo was always in a poor way and the animals were not in the best enclosures etc. But its amazing how bad places can get in a couple of years.

looks so depressing, i guess they're gonna turn it all into housing? i would've rather remembered it as it was if i had visited it before |

yeah if you look at the pics in the folder you cabn see where the paths lead up and its just new build houses now. More than half the zoo park is houses now.

theres loads of abandoned stuff in scotland, theres also been a lot of good stuff destroyed, liek the stuff for the M8 motorway and the M80, I remember watching the M80 being built
makes you feel old when you can actually say 'I remember when this was all fields' and your only 23! lol |

yeahs its pretty dire stuff, heres a thread on another site of the zoo just over a year ago

I have signed up on the site just waiting for it to be activated, been lookign at it for ages and kept meaning to join as I have loads of pics.
Anyway what the guy took pics off I am amazed that its so bad after a year, especially the gift shop! |
