as the subject says, i'm looking for a complete and exact list of the differences between these 2 engines (the 722 is from a clio).. i know there are numerous differences, but not sure exactly which...
hope somebody can help, since i'm looking at buying a 722.. (and i'm not looking for responses like "don't worry, it'll fit" and then nothing further)..
cheers... |

engine is the same head is the same.
Inlet manifold is different, loom is different, alt, ps pump etc etc are all mounted differently.
stat housing is different.
cambelt cover is different.
It all just swaps over from engine to the other though. |

thanks, chris.. as long as the block and the head are the same, all should be fine.. i was a bit worried that there would would be differences in cooling studs on the head or similar that would be different.
is the clio or 19 inlet the better one? (clio one is smaller?) |

omg no, listen ffs
the heads are all the same.
ph1 19 heads have a pressed metal pipe tapped intot he head, the ph2 has a bigger stat housing and no pressed in steel pipe. |
