Now that I have the emergency immobilser code and can use the car again, can you advise how to check the key code please - is there a procedure that recodes the key? As suggested by Chris H I have checked the key and it appears to work, when viewed via a digi cam there is a bright light from the lense on the key - the receiver is not water damaged (it has a green circuit board) - between key, receiver and ECU are there any other items that may be preventing the central locking etc to operate via the remote key? |
