temperature sensor on a MK1 Clio

Please someone help me ???.

I am looking for a wiring diagram / wire colours and pin numbers (pin numbers from the plug behind the speedo) for the outside air temperature sensor on a MK1 Clio.

It does not seem to be in the old Haynes manual!!!

colours changed over the years so thats not much help.

whats it doing anyway? flashing at -30? have you check the sensor itself for continuity?

well it is flashing -30, but thats because there is no sensor on my car!!! Wink

i have a ph3 mk1 with valver clocks, i would like to mod the plug for the temp lcd display to work. the plug is there for it. i would like to get hold of the pin numbers for this plug and take it from there.

erm why not just fit the sensor then?

because i have a base model so i dont know if all the wiring is in place.

so i need to check that out for a start.

i would like to have the pin numbers to the plug behind the speedo so i can check the plug out and trace out cables.

i know the sensor goes in the left side mirror.

i think its the same set up as the renault 19 so i gess the plug pin numbers would be the same?

would you be able to help me with the numbers?

not really cos I don't knwo what they are.

if you have the leccy mirror control looms in the wirings there.
