need to do as cheap as pos, being quoted 250, would like to do myself, what would i need. can i leave gearbox in the car?

i paid 225 for my engine and £250 for it to be fitted. Not something i could do myself, every mechanic i asked was put of when i told it was a R19 16v, finally found someone brave enough, they said quite a few bits needed swapping over as engines were different ages, nothing major but it's all time consuming! |

shame you were so far away cos I'd bang it in for ye.
But if you want to traipse up to glasgow wie it then I'll do it.
Box can stay in but its quicker and easier to remove it as well. |
