hi
Got the dialgys up and running.
Renault 19 TD RT 1870cc
Hatchback
K reg 1993
Does anyone know the codes for the following?
Engine. Think its F8Q
Vehical type
Production Date
Engine type and suffix
Gearbox type And suffix
Fabrication Number.
Theres loads of codes and im not sure which ones are which

look on the vin plate on the car, there will be a number, B something or other. I have the codes somewhere.
but from the top of me head
C53D IS 3 DOOR 16V HATCH
L53D IS 16V CHAMADE
L539 CO ADJUSTBLE 16V CHAMADE
C539 CO ADJUSTABLE 16V HATCH
B537 1.4 5 DOOR
EAOH 16V 2L MEGANE CABRIO

its the software that the renault dealers use to locate parts etc.
Can buy it through ebay or if you friendly with so,e that has it ask for a copy.

I found that Eurocarparts website lists the vehicle type codes when you select your car on it, as part of the model name. It indicates that the 93 1.9TD hatchback 19 is code B53K, and dialogies seems to agree.
You don't actually need to fill in all the info on the 'vehicle' screen to use most things - the software will prompt you for extra information if it needs it, so just see how you get along with just the vehicle type code. If you enter that first on a new vehicle form in dialogies, it will fill in the other stuff you need to get started with.
The best source of information is the parts reference section imo - click on the PR button to go there. You can search for specific items on the car, and you will get an exploded diagram of the relelvant bits. There is often more than one diagram per topic though, so look out for something like
|<< << 1/2 >> >>|
on the left hand side when viewing a diagram. Clicking on the >> or << goes through the diagrams for that topic.
