Hi


Any ideas how to remove the gear knob on my 96 Laguna, I have tried yanking it but all to no avail, is there a hidden metod that that has eluded me , Any Ideas M8ys ?

how about the traditional unscrewing it, tried that?

That would be my first avenue of investigation, certainly before 'yanking it'...

they are just glued on i think. mine used to get thrown onto the backseat on an excited gear change...looked like just glue to me.

they ain't screwed on andthey are not glued on either.

The gear knob has a hole smaller than the stick, its forced on and then doesn't move, or thats the theory.

Get mole grips on it or hacksaw it off.

well when mine came off it had glue on it...but i suppose that could have been someones effort at fixing it previously.

aye they normally loosen off and spin, so superglue holds em on.
