my mate needed new brake pads...so he went to see how much they cost in halfords.....x amount......bein a tad lazy he thought he would go laong to ATS and just find out how much to have them fitted...they said £40....it steep seein as the pads were only about 15 .....
BUT
ATS offer a life time guarantee!!!! if those pads ever wear out in the time u own that car they will replace them for free!!!
think he said they used to do it on zorsts too but not any more...they got some old guy who has kept his car for yrs and yrs and keeps coming back for a free zorst every time it blows....
but i think thats quite good for 40quid.....guess they are expecting most ppl to have new cars before the pads wear out and the buisiness they get from word of mouth is prolly good too |

Honestly??! wot (I mean what really) pads are they tho...prob really shit, but suppose it doesnt matter if u just drive normally.

yeah doubt they were special but soo many ppl just dont care. like my mate...he bought the CR about a year ago...S reg mondeo TD ...he will have that car for yrs....the last car was an old 1.3 astra..."brum" it was known as ....it was so run down and ancient but he wouldnt get rid.....so this mondeo i think will have its fair share of free pads im sure. |

lifetime guarentees are usually only 3 years as thats the average life expectancy for a car with an owner.
read the small print.
The exhaust thing is the same, I have had to sort out a few probs liek this before. |
