chaps got a laguna rxe estate phase 2 it is supposed to have 6 working speakers, unfortnatly for me the garage where I brought it from decided to change the stereo and I have only just recently realised that the rear speakers don't work its now out of waranty typical. the muppets had a kenwood somthing fitted I know the original would have been a blaupunkt , any ideas anyone I have tried to find an original stereo but no joy |

6 speaker it may be but its only a 4 output head unit.
the dash speakers and door speakers run off the front channel and the rears run off the rears.
1st thing you should do is mess around with the setting on the head unit.
make sure the fader isn't all to the front. Also mess around with the balance to make sure the sound goes to the left and right as it should.
Many a time bad installs have been set up so if you fade it front to rear the sounds actually moves left to right.
But to be honest its iso connectors so the new unit will have gone straight in, so check the setup liek I said then have a look for dissconnected speaker leads. |

cheers chris I'll have a look at the weekend. its bound to be something stupid like these things normally are I just wasn't sure how the 4 front speekers were connected but you've explained that so once again thanks.. |

yeah i had some foriegners bring a laguna in could you please wire in the head unit, so i wire up an iso block then couldnt figure out why speakers not working the rear left one did but the others didnt removed the trims oh look no speakers ... bloody forigners
theres a rest button on the front of most anything just push it and then if it is the balance or fade your sorted |

cheers rich didn't know about the reset button, I know about the one on the autochanger. it does have speakers in the rear have checked.lol |

I don't know why the muppets removed the old blaupunkt 1, i'd rather of had the original.oh well! |

yeah but is there wires attached to the speakers hehe
well if its any thing like iso green and purple are rear and grey and white are front speakers, just cheack for loose wires |
