well I have finally extracted the clutch, starter, heatshields and all sorts, these are all to be replaced/cleaned/overhauled as apporpriate.

its the clutch folks that went bang! Centres sheared, it was also fitted backwards.

Wish I had a clutch to hand cos I would replace it now. I instead will have to chop the blue car up.

gauge says 9 degrees today, its wet but theres a few breaks in the cloud for sun.

Just as well long day ahead of me, in extracting the sky blue cars clutch for the red one etc!

well nearly done. Had to get a new clutch as removign the clutch from the blue one wasn't really viable.

So 35quid got a new LUK/Valeo clutch.

Driveshafts still to go back in coolant ect but it'll be driving soon.

Nice to see the red one going again. Chris (the other Chris) said it was a new clutch on it... was it? (Obviously put on wrong)

yep new clutch, installed backwards, centre ripped apart, pics up later.

You know the brake line it failed on? Well file, wire brush, wire brush in the drill and green nail varnish, its perfecto!

With luck might get it mot'd tomorrow!
