Anyone got a picture of an ISO radio adaptor for the 19? Want to see the wiring on the car end of the adapto, im trying to bodge up an adaptor from a spare origional radio cable. I'd go and check mine, but its dark and the apline hu is a swine to get out.

Nope, the stereo has had its ISO connector cut off and im almost 100% sure I could bodge one up, not gonna waste money Razz

i used to just spend a few mins gettin shocks as i twiddled all the different wires together til i got it working...Razz

I can confirm, the diagram is correct and my cd player works Smile just need to solder it all together in work tomorrow Smile

What I wanna know is why the ISO adapter is a tenner but the remote control adapter is £30! What the hell is so complicated about the remote controls wiring?!

it has a little box on it which contains a small PCB and a chip. Someone had to design the PCB and program the chip.

use a multimeter and a battery, easy peasey, i got spare isos coming out of my ears could save you a tenner if ya lived near norfolk hehe

Slightly off topic question, but do any stereo manufacturers actually make a wired steering remote to go with them anymore? Everyone seems to be using IR remotes which IMHO are a bit stupid - who wants to be changing the batterys in a remote every few months when you got a perfectly good 12v power supply in yer car already? Smile
