What is it with this? Everytime I install it on a machine it will only open in a tiny minimised window in the top left of the screen and will not show anything but a blank white screen. Usually I have to mess around untill it eventually works. Does anyone know why this is?

its not installed properly, its installed properly when the white screen gets stuff on it.
Thsi window in the left and blank screen happen up until its installed properly.
So its NOT installed properly like I already said. |

Yes it is, installed quictime 4, full option > restart. Installed the java off the CD > restart. Installed adobe 4 > restart. This is on a PC that was clean installed on tuesday. To me, thats properly installed. Had this problem on my home pc too. tried installing quicktime 6, the latest java and adobe 5 too, still wouldnt work. |

Sounds like you had the same problem I had - I just used the file I've attached to this message to get it running. Its a batch file, so rename it to dialogies.bat (make sure the icon changes from the excel icon), and put it in the "C:\Program Files\dialogys\data" folder (assuming that you install dialogies into "C:\program files"), and then double click on it to try running the program.
Let me know if it works for ya!
Cheers

lol ahh well it was worth a shot - you getting the tiny window which is blank white when you maximise it? Or does nothing happen at all?
If you are using Win2000 or XP, you can go to start, then "Run", then type in "cmd" to get a DOS prompt (in Win95/98, its in the start menu as "MS DOS Prompt" or something) and click the OK button, then in the dos window that appears, type
cd "C:\Program Files\dialogys\data"
and hit the enter key then type in the name of the batch file I posted, once you have copied it to the C:\Program Files\dialogys\data folder, eg.
dialogys.bat
followed by pressing the enter key.
This should give you a whole bunch of mostly useless information in that DOS window, some of which can be quite useful in isolating what is fooking the program up.
If quicktime is not installed right, then you will see something like this error listed:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: quicktime/QTSession
at dialogys.quicktime.QTStatix.openQT(QTStatix.java:12)
at dialogys.chapeau.DialogysStarter.init(DialogysStarter.java:188)
at dialogys.chapeau.DialogysStarter.main(DialogysStarter.java:267)
near the end of the guff the program outputs to the DOS window.
If this is the case, then I can give you some destructions on how to fix it, but I won't bother typing all that crap out unless that actually is your problem!
Cheers
