got rid of my low temp thermostat today....and original rad switch back in.....
runs much better! hotter but better.
took it out for a LONG hard blast and it performed lovely.
idles a lot better too as it was havin a tendancy to splutter and cut out a bit before....not a lot but perfect now. |

well i let it fast idle to make sure the fan kicked in etc and it kicked in just over the top notch like so...
then out running around, mixed slow traffic and long fast blasts it barely touched that line.... |

booting mine makes the fan kick in which I'm not to happy about.
Normal driving its either at the 1st line or about halfway up to the top notch as you call it.
booting it
trundling along
Its settled a bit more but the cars not gone anywhere for me to really see. |

with my old rad my needle sat where JBs is, rising slightly higher in traffic. With the rad out of WOX, it sits at the first line, rarely going over it. |

ok, hows your heater? Mines being difficult still, I need to park sideways/uphill to belled air I reckon.
Standard fan switch will cut in at 92 and got off at 82 degrees. |

yep mine behaves perfectly.
In fact all of mine have. When mine start playing up I find changing the oil sorts it out.
the hatch I had to squeeze the terminal to get it to contact the sender. |
