Hi
Thought long and hard about the problems this ren 19 1.9TD has been having.
I renewed the battery connection as chris suggested.
No Better.
So i thought that renewing the glow plugs might solve the problem. This is what i found!!
Ive managed to renew the 2 on the right hand side of the fuel pump etc but how the hell do i get the other two??
Theres fuel lines etc in the and theres only 1/2 inch to work in?? |

aye an extra 5 mins to the job but it makes it possible!
You will lose a bit of diesel but it won't explode out and cut the car/you in half or anything, be just a dribble. crack the lines to the injectors open let the diesel run out, paper towels the best way to soak it up to avoid oily smells.
Then just undo em and lift them over and jobs a good un. |

I'd be more concerned to what happened to the end of that glow plug |

Do what Chris said, take the fuel return line off, I managed to get them all out by just doing that and using a very small spanner and my fingers, very fiddly, still didnt sort my cold start problem though. |
