when I was in ren earlier they hada bright orange one of these. Looked crap like the normal one. Has the pathetic 182 twin exhaust thing, interior crap again same as 182, obviously never got to take it for a spin but not impressed with it looks/feel wise.

modern interiors are crap, anyone who gets out a 16V seat into a 182 seat etc will think they are on a park bench.

225 engine is basically a turboed version of the clio 182 engine, and one of those will fit in a 19.

Doesnt necessarily mean the megane one will, but there you go

it'll fit fine.

Engines not that great tbh. Any renault engine these days really is pretty poor.

The old gordini lumps like the 60's 1.8 16V lump was a far superior engine, much better head and decent coolant system.

The best LBF/FT to BHP out of a Renault petrol engine, was the engine in the 21 Turbo. A 250bhp 21 Turbo has 300 lbf/ft . The new BMW M3 has 343bhp and only 269 lbf/ft. How bad is that. Forget the M3's , I beat the M5's Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil ................But I think not, the new 200 mph one..... THATS Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool .

But the Megane still needs 225bhp to make 221lb/ft , the 21 will make that at 3600rpm with 185bhp. You can see why we love the 21T's............... CIVIC Type R, 197bhp - 145lb/ft . Honda S200 237bhp - 154lb/ft . Porsche Boxster S 3.2, 280bhp - 229lb/ft. focus ST170, 170bhp - 144lb/ft . Peugeot 206 GTi 180, 180bhp - 149lb/ft . Lotus Exige, 189bhp - 134lb/ft . Toyota Celica VVTL-i T Sport, 189bhp - 133lb/ft . Astra 2.0i 16v Turbo, 192bhp - 150lb/ft . Just look how bad this lot are, even the Subaru WRX and STi need 222bhp to make 221lb/ft.......... Renault have always been at the top for the amount of lbs/ft to bhp that can get out of a 4cyl engine. But with out a doubt, the 21 Turbo engine was the best they ever made. The Prima
Racing, Renault 21T with 300bhp was making over 400 lb/ft. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
