Got a bit carried away in MS Paint last night, doodling various bodywork mods onto my car. Eventually I ended up with something I quite liked the look of. With it being done in Paint it was naturally crap, so I handed it over to Casper on RSC and he Photoshopped it to look a bit more life like.

What you can see below is the result!

There's more I want to do to the car in that picture, de-lock the boot, remove the rear wiper, perhaps remove, fill in and smooth the petrol flap and relocate the filler pipe. Removing the dent from the rear cluster would be wonderful as well...

Yes mate, actually buying some Chamade 16V skirts from a guy later on this week for 25 notes.

I think the smoothing of the door handles and locks works wonders.

Yeah I like the silver too - seems to take years off the 19. Someone I spoke to a few months ago was under the impression that he could go into a Renault dealership and buy one of these!

Even though she's not done like in the pic she's pretty mint for her age bar one or two imperfections in the bodywork!

I think your confusing us "enthusiasts" with the lax flower brigade.

Best stick to RSC for discounts on body filler and tins of paint Wink

A standard 16v chamade still looks a whole lot better im affraid, looks like your going for a sort of max power style look there with the huge rims and ground huggin ride hight.

It's same old, same old buddy. Actually the whole site's down at the mo - if you go to the home page it says the web-sites been suspended!

I wouldn't say the advice is bad, anybody with an issue more complex than oil or spark plug changes gets diverted over here so they can PM Chris!

Nah it's not too bad on there really. Loads of 'em have crashed and totalled their cars in this shite weather, about 10 of 'em altogether!

Are the 16V bumpers deeper than the ones I have? i.e will they finish as low as the skirts so it's all in-line?

As yet I am undecided on the spoiler. I'm going for a smooth and simple look so still trying to work out if a spoiler is going to clutter things up.

Cheers for the offer tho' mate, will let ya know.

Standard 19 bumper, its not got the fogs but the bumper shell is the same.

16V bumper, the bottom section has a flexable splitter and the chin on it sticks out more. Easy to see.

The spoiler is the decent 2 strut 16V hatch version without the rear wiper cut out on the later lower spoilers.

Aye that's quite good. Admittedly it's a more favourable option over some of the chavvy ones that are about.

Will have a think. Think the 16v bumper will look spot on in Iceberg Silver!

Also are the headlights larger on the 16v's? Just wondering why the repeaters have been sited in the bumper?

Have got a rough idea for the rear bumper, basically I want the rear bumper to resemble one of the standard bumpers on some E36 3-Series' BMW's. It's simple and wont make a twin-exiting exhausts look out of place.

headlights are twin units. Much better than the normal 19 efforts. Look in my chamads progress report for car pics!
