hes right clearly, let him think that.
But the 1.6 and the 1.9 are not faster.
They are also way over rated, one magazine says they are ok and everyone creams their pants over them. The 309 is better Autocar and a few other mags agree. Then the spaz's say the 205 is amazing and best handlign etc etc
Its really not, way over rated. |

how are they expensive? They are dirt cheap these days, get them with T&T for about £400
if anyone sees a decent 309 GTI let me know. Black or tungsten grey though, nothing else. |

yes i believe the arguement goes along those lines....2 cars same engine power clio maybe lighter but 19 is lesser drag...or something like that.
not something i care deeply about |

better gearing and drag make the 19 ultimately faster.
Clio is quicker through town, on a motorway or country road 19's quicker. Longer wheel base and wider track helps high speed stability |

I'm still waiting on the figures from Renault regarding the 19, but it is known that drag coeiffient figures are marginally better on the 19.
But to be honest why should we be having to explain why the 19 is a superior car to the Clio? In almost every aspect the car is a better car to own.
This isn't RSC / CS remember folks |
