Have just read the article on key synchronisation, A friend has an N reg Laguna and their key has stopped working a week ago. They had changed the batteries when it failed and put new ones straight back in. Had a look today and basically the inners were not contacting properly as the indication light was not illuminating. This is now sorted but the key still does not work. Is the key number the one on the actual inside of the casing, and if I shout at Renault loud enough will they cry and give me the code? Great article by the way. |

Have just read the article again now that I'm not in an amazing hurry and can see 1: The stupidity of my last question and 2: The numbers indicated location at the end of the pointing finger. By the way Chris you have lovely hands, you ever thought of modelling for Haynes. |
