These things are a PITA!
Most of the time they just pop out when banged with a punch. Today I am battling with ther megane.
Its the twin pin effort, 1 inside the other, which is the crapper one.
Of course its not shifting. I did find the source of the exhaust rattle, the front bracket had loosened from the engine mount bracket so was jingling off of it.
I tried banging away at the roll pin, no go.
So I have soaked it in Cillit bang in the hope it'll shift.
If anyone else has any ideas as to what to do let me know!
Normally if its being an arse I pop the shaft out of the inner CV and either swap em over or remove the box and batter it out then. But I really cannae be arsed with that hassle. |

got it out now. Cillit bang done the job. Done the usual snap in 2 trick as well.
I am now left trying to pop the driveshaft out of the hub. Cillit bang has been applied so we shall see. |

Never worked on the driveshaft, still in the hub. Blowtorch kept going out as well. So I'll leave that to another day. |
