Hey,
I am looking for some information on putting a renault 5 gt turbo engine into my 1.4rt clio 1995. I am looking for a kit which has most of the parts i need. Or what do i need to change
AND YES I HAVE ALREADY DONE A SEARCH, BUT COULD'NT FIND ANY USEFUL INFORMATION.

Basically all you need to get the engine into the clio is a full set of clio 'night & day' engine mounts.
Use the RT gearbox.
For the rad you can use the 5 item or the RT one but you'll need to sort something for the 5's oil cooler
Very easy transplant. I know someone who done one in a day including tea/dinners breaks |

Hey what is an night and day clio, And how easy is the wiring loom , Do u have any digrams.

night and day clio is the C type engines 1.1 litre early clio, same engine type as the gtt.
Its not a hard conversion.
The GTT uses a leccy speedo sender as the turbos right where the speedo cable goes so if you retain a cable drive it will need shielded fromt he heat. Tinfoil is a wonderfull thing. |
