something else is coming up everyday with this car lately.
just picked up from the garage after the timing belt tensioner was done.
on the way this whining noise started coming from the back ,it obviously is the fuel pump or something as there is nothing else that would make the same noise .
after 30 mins of driving ,parked the car and started up after 10mins again .the noise was gone .
whats this all about ? |

if he sold it or burnt it there would be no whining at all.
But its a valid question JB.
Ahh I miss the worlds noisiest fuel pump in the chamade. |

well mine was rather buggered.
The mrs could tell I was home from out 1st floor flat in the back bedroom due to the noise.
It was even worse when the alt was dodgy, it was going up and down like a power drill. |

Did you fill the tank up?
my fuel pump gets silenced if i go round a long roundabout or right hand corner with a reasonably full tank, due to the fuel sloshing to the side and covering the pump up |

I find the whining from the back is usually the kids or the future mother-in-law |
