Well hes probably quoting at-the-fly figure.
That's one fine looking automobile (for a phase 1 mind )
Not sure on the old phase 2 vent on a phase 1 car |

Ah I was wondering if anybody else had noticed this!
I too thought the power figure was a bit dubious - so I messaged him asking how a K&N added 16bhp and he replied claiming that the previous owner had had the head gas-flowed and rebored.
I replied saying that he should have mentioned this in the ad as it could be misleading. I also said that if he couldn't prove the figure then he should of stated a more realistic figure of about 140bhp with the IK.
Needless to say he hasn't gotten back to me. But yes it does look very nice and tidy, I especially like the wheels. Actually not too far from me either! If I had £500 then I might consider it, popped piston and all. Could probably make that back from selling the wheels! |

I'll tell you then.
If the car is cheap and in excellent condition, with nice goodies and extras on it, except the engine is naffed, then you just swap the engine with one that has a good engine but otherwise tatty, or you just buy another engine for £50 and use that. Simple innit!
Wouldn't do it any other way |
