Which type of dump V would you use on a 21? And before you ask… yes it will serve no other purpose in my mind except for the ‘pssssssssshhht’ cause I get fed up of trying to make the noise myself every shift! Lol Razz

ned

Dump to atmosphere for the most noise I take it?

Bailey are quite good and rebuidable. You really want a piston one opposed to a diagphram as they are more reliable and respond quicker.

Of course you could get a HKS or something if you wanna spend mega bucks

Two days of picking tomatoes i'll have you know, and the green shite has only just completely removed itself from my fingers. (and yes, eating uncleaned tomatoes straight off the vine solidly for two days gives you the runs)

Its just really the shell and engine. Nothing inside it and I need to get hold of a proper front bumper for it.

I'm going out again in a couple of months and the only 'car' shop I know of in the Aduluthia area sells ICE only. Are they hard to fit Chris? How much would I be looking at for an atmospheric 'piston' valve here?

I told you take me with you and I'll sort it all out.

On a side note I have just found the primas V5 registering it scrapped, theres tears in my eyes!

E-bay is a good place to pick up cheap dump valves. But a decent one is about a ton.

I doubt they’d let you out the country, bad man! Lol

Can you give me a ‘brief’ installation guide? Also, are the turbos on these things water or oil cooled?

Nope, nae pics yet although will get some next time I am out. Its the same colour as a 21 in the pics forum, will dig out link in a sec. I have a funny feeling that it ain't a quadra though, maybe louis just glued the badge on - it didn't feel like itd

Yeah, know I would need a T piece to plum in the valve, what do I need vacuum hoses for? (please excuse the ignorance). The farmer used it for moving crates of tomatoes up to the main road from his warehouse, and his dog slept in it most nights. Cleaned up fine, but its got no interior at all and I had to drive it home while sitting on an upturned crate....

a small vacuum hose runs from the top of the valve to the inlet manifold to activate the valve when vacuum occurs in manifold, ie when the throttle shuts.

lol that must have been easy Laughing driving sittin on an upturned crate!

I tie wrapped it through the seat subframe holes lol. I put the belt on to thwart any policia local attention but I realised how pointless having it on was. Got a seat to put in it though, so the red crate can go. lol

Its this colour (minus front bumper)

and when I get the poster paints out its gonna look like this

Right, that would be easy enough once I have the valve. Can get all sorts of wee hoses out there as there is a JCB place up the road - guy in there does all the maintaining of the plant vehicals. Sure he'd get me some small hydrolic hose

I've got one. At that money its less than half the RRP. Its quite a hefty item tho so needs the car to be running 10psi+ to work right

Do you know what a 21T boosts at standard? (Again showing me being a novice)

Does it scare away the local wildlife when it dumps?? Twisted Evil
