I have been amazingly calm about it, there has been a few times when I was gonna start smashign it up.
the whole saga happened due to the rear mount. Tried to get it back in had to take the bracket off after it burst the brake pipe. So fitted the engine backin on the 2 front mounts, used the ren scissor jack and in abotu 2 seconds I had the bracket back on nice as you like. Typocal innit!
I have no idea why this cars such a bastard, I went to leeds banged bens in and out no bother. The other ben was up last week, his engine on and out no bother, mine 2/3 days of fucking about and bits breaking left right and centre and its in and I still can't drive it.
Every other car I have had has been fine (talking 19's here) but this ones just a bin of shit, its also been the most expensive one I have had. |

I don't know Pierre but this heap o shite is the last chamade I will ever buy. If this was my 1st 19 I would not buy another in any circumstance!
The only 19 thats worth anything and you can trust 100% is a ph1 1.4 energy. |

oh yeah forgot the other problems found today.
What the magical leaky sunroof deposited in the rear drivers footwell
and then whilst there looked at the seat subframe, yes its cracked, oh happy joy.
hard to see, but if you look at it you can see the difference in shadows, thats the split. |

yeah but once you've done loads to a car, you're reluctant to get rid of it cos you've got time and money already invested in it. |

but if whatever you make does not help heal the bloody car"s chronical problems you might as well forget how much effort you put into it and get rid as quick as possible .
some problems are not worth solving ,you just eliminate them |

i dont know what u exactly mean by "body" but i sure had no big problems at all with my ph2 and this car was at 174k miles when i bought it a year ago for 195quid 6months tax and mot ,so its nothing to do with how much you pay for it at the end of the day .
a bit of luck me thinks. |

The rustproofing on the 16v is not as good as non-16vs. Plus you have the holes in the sills where the skirts attach to. Not good. |

I have driven other chamades and the white one was better than this blue one but any ph1 hatch would leave it and the other chammys.
Like Neal says I have sunk so much money into the shit heap I would rather see it get crushed than let it sell for 200 quid or something. |

nah, it'll end up sitting in the drive for years then one day I may liek it again.
I have found the missing exhaust clamp. So i will fit that and then the car will be silenced!
I will also fit the rad and put water in it then take it round the block providing the battery stays alive long enough.
I ned to swap the meganes driveshaft. The one thats stuck in the hub! |

well its running.
alt lights still on, looked at all thes fuses hoping for the luck of the irish like chet for a dodgy fuse. but nope.
arse buggery bollocks.
Still I took it out and about with no front number plate for the stolen car look, all the windoiws down as well. Forgot how loud these things are! Its also a dam,n sight quicker than the lag/orion/meg/red un, no knocking either from the rear mount, exhaust sits ok, squint but its on and ok. |
